I had stage 4 endometriosis with a frozen pelvis and two endometriomas as well as fibroids. Mr Khazali listened to my preferences, helped me choose the best option for me, and was able to excise all the endo (including from bowel) and remove fibroids in one laparoscopic surgery. I live 2 hours away but would happily have travelled further. My symptoms have been greatly improved since the surgery. If you are in a similar position, please don’t give up hope. With a surgeon as skilled as Mr Khazali you have the chance to get your life back. As well as being a true expert in endo he is a very kind and understanding person. I cannot recommend him enough.

The doctors are so polite, attentive and caring. Their explanations are fantastic! I want to say a big thanks to them all. I’m so overwhelmed and very satisfied with my care.

The consultant was very helpful and answered all my questions. I would have preferred to have my husband present when my surgery was being explained afterwards as it was difficult for me to remember but understand this is difficult and will hopefully have another chance to discuss.

My care from Luz Hughes has been amazing. I have called and emailed Luz frequently since becoming a patient and worry that I am a nuisance bu Luz has reassured me that it’s ok to ask for her advice and support. She listens and advises always in a warm and friendly manner.

I am happy with my care from the whole team at CEMIG. I was at the end of my tether and nobody was able to help me or wanted to but I have felt heard and listened to since coming to CEMIG. I have been given honesty, kindness and information. Its early days in my recovery from surgery but I have faith that my care and support at CEMIG will be fundamental in getting the best outcome.
